David has over 25 years of financial, accounting, tax and consulting experience and most recently, led the SR&ED practice for the BC region of a national public accounting firm. He has raised more than $35m in investment tax credits for emerging companies in British Columbia.

He has consulting experience with both Canadian and US private and public organizations. He has acted as VP Finance and CFO for organizations and has navigated his clients through several financial transactions, including cross border. He has acted as Project Manager on several large-scale ERP implementations and has held senior Finance and IT roles with both Canadian and US organizations. David has industry experience with high tech, aviation, aerospace, health care, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical professionals, media, retail, hospitality, and real estate.

David graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of Saskatchewan in 1987. He received his Chartered Public Accountant (Chartered Accountant) designation in 1991, Certified Public Accountant (Illinois, USA) in 1996, and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA, USA) in 2012.
He has a Commercial pilot’s license, and enjoys running, cycling and long-distance marathons and triathlons.
